Where did you come from, my favorite ever?
In the process of deciding if violets – even free ones – are worth driving 30 minutes to retrieve, I stumbled across your blog (oh internet! i am humbled by your mysterious ways), and I have now left my lunch languishing on the counter for over an hour while I read every single post.
I have also come to the conclusion that you live in Chicago and work at a place I frequent, so I am terrified of accidentally meeting you and being struck blind by admiration. I will have to wear dark glasses from now on.
Anyway, it is a good blog.
I found this blog doing a search on ‘old-timey’, trying to find things to paint. Lucky me, I found your blog (and your little sparrow friend!). Ready to enjoy it for some time to come. Thanks for doing what you do
